Abstract:
A method for concatenating a first frame of samples and a subsequent second frame of samples, the method comprising applying a phase filter adapted to minimizing a discontinuity at a boundary between the first and second frames of samples.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to improvements of predictive encoding/decoding operations performed on a signal which is transmitted over a packet switched network. The signal is encoded on a block by block basis in such way that a block A-B is predictive encoded independently of any preceding blocks. A start state (715) located somewhere between the end boundaries A and B of the block is encoded using any applicable coding method. Both block parts surrounding the start state is then predictive encoded based on the start state and in opposite directions with respect to each other, thereby resulting in a full encoded representation (745) of the block A-B. At the decoding end, corresponding decoding operations are performed.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to 6-(4-{[(benzylsulfonyl)amino]carbonyl}piperidin-1-yl)-5-cyano-2-methylnicotinic acid ethyl ester, form I and II, to processes for preparing such compounds, to their utility as P2Y12 inhibitors and as anti-thrombotic agents etc, their use as medicaments in cardiovascular diseases as well as pharmaceutical compositions containing them.
Abstract:
A mat (10) comprises a pile surface fabric (40) and a rubber or rubber-like backing layer (20). The pile surface fabric (40) is connected to and extends to the edges of the backing layer (20). The pile surface fabric (40) is provided with a border portion (22) having on its upper surface (26) a contrasting color and/or texture to the remainder (24) of the pile surface fabric and extending along at least a portion of the edge of said pile surface fabric. The mat (10) can be formed in a single cutting operation by cutting the mat from a roll of mat material (30) comprising a pile surface fabric having elongate areas (32, 34) of contrasting surface color and/or texture bonded to a rubber backing layer. The cuts (36, 38) are made along the elongate areas (32, 34). Since the border (22) is formed in the pile, colors and shapes can be selected to suit customer requirements, while the mat (10) serves to clean footwear over its entire area.
Abstract:
A method for generating an output sequence of samples in response to a first and a second subsequence of samples, the method comprising —applying a weighted overlap-add procedure to the first and second subsequences so as to generate the output sequence of samples, —optimizing a weighting function involved in the weighted overlap-add procedure in response to a measure of matching between the output sequence of samples and one or more target sequences of samples.
Abstract:
A method for generating a sequence of concealment samples in connection with transmission of a digitized audio signal, wherein the method comprises generating the sequence of concealment samples from buffered samples of the digitized representation of audio signal in sample time order, wherein at least two consecutive subsequences of samples in the sequence of concealment samples are based on subsequences of buffered samples, wherein said subsequences of buffered samples are consecutive in reordered time.

Abstract:
A pile mat for the elimination of vermins on pets walking indoor as well as outdoor, and to which pile mat is added an insecticide which may be dispensed from the mat to the pet resting on the mat. The surface of the pile mat is impregnated with an insecticide for the dispension thereof by contact to said surface or by slow evaporation from said surface. The pile mat has a water proof backing and a napped primary texture fastened thereto, whereby the nap yarns and the primary texture have been supplied with the insecticide.
