    Abstract: An evolved NodeB (eNB) for scheduling multiple Licensed-Assisted Access (LAA) cells is described that includes a processor and memory in electronic communication with the processor. Instructions stored in the memory are executable to perform clear channel assessment (CCA) detection and obtain a channel status at a configured Licensed-Assisted Access (LAA) secondary cell (SCell). The instructions are also executable to manage a counter. The instructions are further executable to determine whether the counter is reduced or suspended if the channel is sensed to be idle. The instructions are additionally executable to reduce the counter if determined, otherwise suspend the counter and move to a next channel sensing.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described that includes a higher-layer processor configured to configure a shortened transmission timing interval (TTI) for a serving cell. The UE also includes a physical uplink channel transmitter configured to transmit a physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) on the serving cell. The UE further includes a shortened physical uplink channel transmitter configured to transmit a shortened physical uplink control channel (SPUCCH) on the serving cell. In a case that a transmission instance of the SPUCCH collides with an uplink subframe where the PUCCH is to be transmitted, the PUCCH is dropped, and the SPUCCH is transmitted.

    Abstract: A user equipment (UE) is described. The UE includes a processor and memory in electronic communication with the processor. Instructions stored in the memory are executable to acquire a first higher layer configuration indicating at least a short uplink control channel (PUCCH) resource configuration. The instructions are also executable to acquire a second higher layer configuration indicating multiple sets of PUCCH resource configurations, one set of PUCCH resource configurations within the multiple sets of PUCCH resource configurations include the short PUCCH resource configuration. The instructions are further executable to select a set of PUCCH resource configurations from the sets of PUCCH resource configurations based on a payload size of uplink control information (UCI). The instructions are additionally executable to transmit the UCI on a PUCCH resource, the PUCCH resource corresponding to a PUCCH resource configuration within the selected set of PUCCH resource configurations.

    Abstract: A method for reporting uplink control information (UCI) by a user equipment (UE) is disclosed. The method includes storing information on whether a simultaneous physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) and physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission is supported. The method also includes, when the simultaneous PUCCH and PUSCH transmission is not supported and in case of a channel collision between a PUCCH and a PUSCH, transmitting, by the UE, the UCI using the PUCCH in an overlapping portion between the PUCCH and the PUSCH, and dropping the overlapping portion of the PUSCH.
