Abstract: The invention provides a light management information system for an outdoor lighting network system, having a plurality of outdoor light units each including at least one sensor type, where each of the light units communicates with at least one other light unit, at least one user input/output device in communication with at one or more of said outdoor light units, a central management system in communication with light units, said central management system sends control commands and/or information to one or more of said outdoor light units, in response to received outdoor light unit status/sensor information from one or more of said outdoor light units or received user information requests from said user input/output device, a resource server in communication with said central management system, wherein the central management system uses the light unit status/sensor information and resources from the resource server to provide information to the user input/output device and/or reconfigure one or more of the lights units.

Abstract: Commission devices (1) comprise first transmitters (11) for transmitting activation signals to load devices (2-6), and second transmitters (12) for transmitting numbers of challenge signals to activated load devices (2) that respond by sending back a response signal per challenge signal to the commission devices (1). The commission devices (1) further comprise first receivers (13) for receiving the response signals and controllers (14) for determining time-intervals present between transmissions of the challenge signals and receptions of the response signals. The controllers (14) derive absolute or relative positions of the load devices (2-6) from analyzes such as statistical analyzes of the time-intervals. Load devices (2-6) comprise second receivers (21) for receiving the activation signals and third receivers (22) for receiving the number of challenge signals and third transmitters (23) for sending back the response signals to the commission devices (1). The load devices (2-6) may further comprise loads (26).

Abstract: A device (1) for detecting a problem in or near a load (2, 3) coupled to a cable (6) of a cable system comprises an analyzing part (11) for analyzing a waveform of a cable signal for feeding the load (2, 3) and a deciding part (12) for in response to an analysis result deciding whether a problem in or near the load (2, 3) is present or not. The load (2, 3) may be coupled to the cable (6) via a driver (4, 5). The problem in or near the load (2, 3) may result in the driver (4, 5) amending a value of the waveform at or near a crest or a trough of the waveform. The analysis result may define whether the waveform has been amended by more than a threshold or not. The amending of the value of the waveform at or near the crest or the trough may comprise a positive pulse added to a crest or a negative pulse added to a trough.

Abstract: Apparatuses (10) for determining statuses of load circuits (11) comprise terminals (1, 2) for exchanging current signals with current sources (12). The load circuits (11) comprise D loads (L1-LD) in series combinations coupled to the terminals (1, 2). The apparatuses (10) further comprise capacitance circuits (3) comprising E monitor capacitances (CM1-CME) with first contacts coupled to each other and to one of the terminals (1, 2) and second contacts coupled to interconnections between the loads (L1-LD). The apparatuses (10) further comprise detection circuits (4) for detecting voltage signals present between the first and second terminals (1, 2), and derivation circuits (5) for deriving the statuses of the load circuits (11) from the detected voltage signals. Thereto, the derivation circuits (5) may calculate instantaneous capacities comprising steps indicative for said statuses of the load circuits (11). The capacitance circuits (3) do advantageously not interfere with the load circuits (11) in steady-states, and may further comprise F parallel capacitances (CP1-CFP) in parallel to the loads (L1-LD).

Abstract: Methods and systems for providing enhanced augmented reality features and enhancements are disclosed such as an AR support system (100) using lighting units (LU1) in a lighting system (100) to improve performance of augmented reality devices (20). The lighting system (100) may also take advantage of features of the augmented reality devices (20) to improve the safety and performance of the lighting system (100). The lighting units (LU1) include sensors and communication capabilities that detect situations as to when the augmented device would need to be assisted by the lighting network. Finally a method to provide assistance information to the augmented reality device while optimizing energy savings is also described.
