Abstract:
The invention relates to electronic devices for generating synchronization signals, in particular to ultrahigh resolution synchronization signals whose temporal accuracy is less than a nanosecond. The inventive device operates not only with an internal clock but also with the external clock of a synchronizable device, thereby avoiding any temporal drift and uncertainty of the synchronization signals. The main element of the device is embodied in the form of a programmable digital component which operates with the external clock frequency and comprises programmable delay lines enabling to attain ultrahigh temporal resolutions. Said invention also relates to a system comprising several synchronization devices which are interconnected in such a way that the synchronization of different devices remains perfect. The invention makes it possible to control with high accuracy a quasi-unlimited number of devices.
Abstract:
A core for a protective leg gear includes a rear pad and a front pad. The rear pad is integrally molded in a single mold from a semi-rigid lightweight material, and has a leg portion and a foot portion integrally connected to each other at an angle with respect to one another to define a rear surface of the rear pad. The rear surface includes an elongated groove configured to at least partially receive a lower part of the leg. The front pad is connected to at least part of a front surface of the rear pad. The upper portion of the front pad extends beyond the leg portion to cover the knee. The front pad is more flexible than the rear pad, such as to allow at least limited rearward folding of the upper portion of the front pad.
Abstract:
An electronic device for generating secure synchronization signals operating with an external clock emitting a first frequency signal is such that for very high resolution synchronization signals, the temporal accuracy of the signals is less than a nanosecond, thereby enabling different elements of a laser pulse chain to be synchronized. The device is provided with securing means having an internal clock emitting an internal clock signal oscillating at a second frequency roughly identical to the first frequency, wherein electronic security management means is arranged so that the internal clock signal replaces the external clock signal and security measures are triggered when the external clock signal is lost, thereby causing the partial or complete stop of the device to be synchronized.

Abstract:
The field of the invention is that of electronic devices (1) for generating secure synchronization signals operating with an external clock emitting a first frequency signal. More specifically, the technical field is that of very high resolution synchronization signals, the temporal accuracy of the signals being less than a nanosecond, thereby enabling different elements of a laser pulse chain to be synchronized. The inventive device (1) is provided with securing means comprising an internal clock (133) emitting an internal clock signal oscillating at a second frequency roughly identical to the first frequency, wherein electronic security management means (130) are arranged so that the internal clock signal replaces the external clock signal and security measures are triggered when said external clock signal is lost, thereby causing the partial or complete stop of the device to be synchronized.
Abstract:
An apparatus is provided for detecting the level of a liquid in a tank. The apparatus is designed to be connected to a controller that controls a pump so as to switch the pump on when the liquid level reaches a maximum authorized level and to stop operation of the pump when the level of the liquid has gone back down to a minimum level. The apparatus includes a float that is lifted by the liquid and that is guided vertically. The apparatus also includes a magnet that is carried by the float, and at least two switches each having contacts sealed in a capsule. Each switch is fixed in a horizontal fashion to a plate so as to correspond to a predetermined liquid level, and each switch turns on an electrical circuit connected to the controller when the switch is in the magnetic field of the magnet. The plate is disposed in a vertical plane that is parallel to and in close proximity to the displacement of the float.
