Abstract: A switching converter has an input port for receiving an input voltage and an output port for providing an output voltage. The switching converter has a power stage, an energy stored circuit, a power conversion circuit and a control circuit. The power stage has an input terminal coupled to the input port and an output terminal coupled to the output port. The energy stored circuit is charged by the input voltage and provides a first bias voltage which maintains a predetermined time period after the input voltage is less than a predetermined voltage level. The power conversion circuit provides a second bias voltage. The control circuit provides a control signal to control the power stage and discharges the output voltage based on a discharge control signal, wherein the control circuit is powered by either the first bias voltage or the second bias voltage.

Abstract: A control circuit for controlling multi-level buck converter. The multi-level buck converter has N pairs of switches, and N is an integer equal to or greater than 2. The control circuit has a comparing circuit comparing a voltage feedback signal with a reference signal to generate a comparing signal, a selecting circuit receiving the comparing signal to generate N set signals, and N COT controllers. The N set signals take turns to change from inactive state to active state at each rising edge of the comparing signal. Each of the N COT controllers receives output voltage signal, input voltage signal and one corresponding set signal of N set signals to generate a corresponding control signal to control the corresponding pair of switches to perform a complementary on and off switching.

Abstract: A control method for regulating the switching frequency of a resonant converter having an input terminal to receive an input voltage and an output terminal to output an output voltage. The control method is sensing the input voltage and adjusting the switching frequency based on the comparison of the input voltage with a reference threshold voltage. When the input voltage is less than the reference threshold voltage, the switching frequency is adjusted to decrease, and when the input voltage is higher than the reference threshold voltage, the switching frequency is adjusted to increase.

Abstract: A power supply covering power sharing and overshoot preventing functions. In the power supply, a first eFuse is used to deliver a first input power source to a first load at a first bus terminal, and a second eFuse is used to deliver a second input power source to a second load at a second bus terminal. When the current flowing through one eFuse hits its current limit threshold, the other input power source kicks in to provide power support. The current limit threshold of each eFuse is set to be lower than its maximum rated current.

Abstract: An AC switch circuit coupled between an AC input signal and an AC load has a first switch, a second switch, a driving circuit, and a power generation circuit. The first switch blocks a first half-cycle of the AC input signal when turned OFF, and the second switch blocks a second half-cycle of the AC input signal when turned OFF. The driving circuit provides a driving signal to control the first switch and the second switch based on an enable signal. The power generation circuit provides a voltage signal to power the driving circuit. The power generation circuit stores energy from the AC input signal when the first switch and the second switch are turned OFF, and the power generation circuit is disconnected from the AC input signal when the first switch and the second switch are turned ON.
