An internal combustion rotary engine comprising a housing, at least one sun wheel centered about the central axis and positioned within one of at least one cylindrical compartment of the housing, and including a sun wheel circumference and at least one semicylindrical receptable defined along the sun wheel circumference, at least one lobe extending from an inner cylindrical surface of the compartment, and at least one planet wheel received in the at least one semicylindrical receptable of the sun wheel. The at least one planet wheel may be configured to engage the inner cylindrical surface of the cylindrical compartment and include at least one indentation configured to be received by the at least one lobe when the at least one planet wheel rotates along the inner cylindrical surface. Air intake and compression as well as combustion and exhaust may be performed within the same or different compartments of the at least one cylindrical compartment.

A device for cutting a filament of a 3D printer includes a blade having a first end and a second end opposite the first end. The device also includes a support that is attachable to a heater block of the 3D printer and supports the blade, such that the blade is movable relative to the heater block. The first end of the blade is a cutting end, and the second end of the blade is a drive end. The drive end of the blade has a surface configured to receive a force from outside of the device, such that the blade moves relative to the heater block.
Abstract:
An embodiment of a single use nitrous oxide solution delivery system can be used in a prehospital setting such as in ambulances. A container can be filled with a predetermined relative concentration of nitrous oxide and oxygen gases. The container is sized to be stored in a repository within an automated dispensing cabinet (ADC) for medications. The container is connected to a regulator which includes a main control dial configured to allow a health care provider to adjust the volumetric flow rate of the nitrous oxide and oxygen gas mixture used by a patient. A scavenger can be optionally connected to a patient's mask and configured to remove exhaled gas. Another embodiment of a single use nitrous oxide solution delivery system can be used within hospitals and other medical buildings.

The attachment glider further comprises a plurality of attachment spikes extending from the engagement surface at an angle transverse to the adhesive plane and a supporting surface for nesting a fixture coupled to the attachment spikes. A multi-purpose caster and method of using same includes a yoke arrangement having a body supporting a first portion of a spindle. The spindle further comprises a second portion projecting away from the body for insertion into an object during use. The yoke arrangement also includes spaced first and second arms forming a well therebetween. The arms secure an axle that passes through the well during assembly. A selection assembly is rotatably connected to the axle. The selection assembly includes at least two transfer mechanisms of differing modes of movement capable of selectable rotation within the well.

Autonomous genosensors provide integral, self contained units which automatically extract environmental samples, prepare those samples for analytical studies, analyze those samples using studies such as DNA or biomarker analysis, and store or transmit the data produced to a remote computer or computer network. Autonomous genosensors may be used as freestanding units, or may be networked and controlled through a remote computer network.

A wireline communications circuit using transceivers compatible with a wireless communications protocol is disclosed using access points and stations in an adaptive Time Division Multiple Access scheme for a multi-channel medium with colocated transceivers. Methods of operating an access point and a station, their implementations as chips and the implementation of a chip for either the access point or station are further disclosed.
Abstract:
An insert for a multiple component container includes a diaphragm and a sealing element which together define a reservoir. The diaphragm includes a stationary portion and a movable portion. The movable portion is connected to the stationary portion by at least two spaced annular fold lines of opposite sense. A discharge opening is formed in the movable portion within the annular fold lines. A gas leakage path is provided in the diaphragm. A valve member is connected to the stationary portion and cooperates with the discharge opening and substantially seals it. If a great gas pressure is applied to the interior of the reservoir than to its exterior, this results in rotational movement about the fold lines and thus in movement of the movable portion away from the stationary portion and thus in the valve member moving out of sealing contact with the flow opening. Any liquid in the reservoir is then expelled through the discharge opening by the higher pressure prevailing within the reservoir.
