Abstract:
A method of determining the suitability of a surfactant for use in a formation can include sampling water in the formation, providing at least two surfactants, and mixing each of the surfactants with the formation water to form surfactant/water samples. The method can further include determining the solubility of each surfactant with the formation water, comparing the solubility of each surfactant with the other surfactant, and assigning a solubility performance value for each surfactant based on its solubility in the formation water sample compared to the other surfactant.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a LCD panel and a method for repairing the LCD panel. The LCD panel includes a plurality of data lines and a plurality of subpixel areas. Each subpixel area includes a corresponding pixel electrode and thin film transistor. The subpixel area including a spot defect is electrically connected to a neighboring subpixel area having the same color and in normal operation. The connection between the thin film transistor in the subpixel area including the spot defect and the corresponding data line and the connection between the thin film transistor and the corresponding pixel electrode are cut. Consequently, the subpixel area including the bright spot defect is repaired and able to display normally. The display quality of the LCD panel display is improved. Moreover, the present invention repair method is suitable for the repairing of LCD panels without storage capacitors.
Abstract:
Embodiments for using a dynamic structure of tables in a schema of a multi-tenant database are provided. For a tenant schema including a set of tenant tables, a label is created for a tenant table in the set of tenant tables. The label is partitioned into a set of constituent primary labels. A subset of columns is selected from the set of n columns of the tenant table, the subset of columns corresponding to a primary label in the set of constituent primary labels. The subset of columns is mapped to a table in the dynamic structure of tables in the schema of the multi-tenant database, the table in the dynamic structure of tables having the primary label. In the multi-tenant database executing in a data processing system, the dynamic structure of tables is populated with data from the tenant schema according to the mapping.
Abstract:
A device and method for testing a display panel are disclosed. The display panel includes a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix. Each of the pixels is controlled by a charging gate line and a sharing gate line. The testing circuit includes a first, second, third data testing pad electrically coupling a plurality of red, green, and blue sub-pixels respectively, and k gate testing pad. The sharing gate line of m-th sub-pixel row electrically connects to the charging gate line of (m+2n)-th sub-pixel row, wherein m is a positive integer, and n is the positive integer not less than 2. A row number of the sub-pixel row is divided by k to obtain a remainder q. The q-th gate testing pad electrically connects to the charging gate lines coupled with the sub-pixel row, and k and q are positive integers. And 2n is not divisible by k.
Abstract:
A pixel structure includes a first sub-pixel, a second sub-pixel, and a third sub-pixel, the three sub-pixels are arranged in a row and are all divided into a first region and a second region. The first region of the first pixel is above the second region of the first pixel. The first region of the third pixel is above the second region of the first pixel. The first region of the second pixel is below the second region of the second pixel. The first regions of two adjacent sub-pixels are not adjacent such that two first regions do not form the two consecutive points and thus do not form a lightspot. Furthermore, in a low grey value display, the color-mixing effect is better because the first regions of sub-pixels are arranged in a triangle distribution. This also improves the color-mixing effect of RGB colors.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a photo-mask and a method for manufacturing the same. The method for manufacturing the photo-mask comprising: forming a shading pattern layer on a substrate; forming a protecting layer covering the shading pattern layer and the substrate; and; forming a reduced reflection layer on the protecting layer, wherein a refractive index of the protecting layer is greater than a refractive index of the reduced reflection layer. The present invention can mitigate a light reflection problem of a substrate of the conventional photo-mask.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a liquid crystal dropping device, including: a container for containing liquid crystal and being provided with at least one nozzle on an end thereof for ejecting liquid crystal from the container; a driver connected to the container for driving the liquid crystal to eject from the container; at least two dropping heads connected to the at least one nozzle; and at least one corrosion-resistant connecting pipe arranged between the at least one nozzle and the at least two dropping heads for communicating the at least one nozzle with the at least two dropping heads. The dropping device of the present disclosure is capable of shortening the time of manufacturing the liquid crystal panel, improving the efficiency of manufacturing the liquid crystal panel, and avoiding uneven arrangement of the liquid crystal.
