Abstract: A display apparatus including: a cover; a display panel which is accommodated in the cover; a plurality of light emitting elements arranged in at least one edge of the cover from a rear surface of the display panel; a lens which extends in parallel with an arrangement direction of the light emitting elements and is arranged in a light emitting direction; a reflection sheet installed in a rear surface of the display panel; and a holder which includes a holder main body that extends along the at least one edge, a light emitting element accommodator formed in a surface of the holder main body to accommodate therein the light emitting elements and a lens supporter that is spaced from the light emitting element accommodator and is formed in the surface of the holder main body to couple and support the lens.

Abstract: A backlight unit and a display apparatus are provided, the display apparatus including: a display panel on which an image is displayed; and a backlight unit which provides backlight to the display panel, the backlight unit including a plurality of light guide plates, a plurality of substrates which are respectively disposed on at least two surfaces of the corresponding plurality of light guide plates, and a plurality of light emitting units which are respectively disposed between the plurality of light guide plates, and respectively disposed on a surface of the corresponding plurality of substrates. Therefore, a heat radiating surface of a backlight unit is broadened, thereby improving a heat radiating effect and causing the backlight unit to be assembled easily.

Abstract: A display apparatus and a backlight unit are provided.
