Abstract:
A nested compound loudspeaker comprising a speaker assembly chassis (11), an outer driver (18) connected to the speaker assembly chassis (11) and having an inner edge, which defines an opening in the outer driver (18) and forms a functional edge (20), and an inner driver (8) connected to the speaker assembly chassis (11) and at least partially surrounded by the opening of the outer driver (18) and the inner driver (8) having an acoustical center axis located at a distance (r) from the functional edge (20) in a radial direction (α). The distance (r) is non-constant around the acoustical center axis, wherein the distance (r) has a first value in a first radial direction (α) and a second value different to the first value in a second radial direction (α).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a reflex loudspeaker construction (1, 2, 3), which comprises a loudspeaker chamber (30) delimited by the reflex loudspeaker construction (1, 2, 3), a reflex channel (5) connected to the loudspeaker chamber (30), which connects the loudspeaker chamber (30) to the external space of the reflex loudspeaker construction (1, 2, 3), and at least one loudspeaker element (7) connected to the reflex loudspeaker construction (1, 2, 3), which forms part of the structure delimiting the loudspeaker chamber (30). According to the invention, the reflex loudspeaker construction (1, 2, 3) comprises at least two components (2, 3), which can be repeatedly detached at least partly from each other, without dismantling, in order to use the loudspeaker chamber (30) as a transportation space.
Abstract:
The loudspeaker construction comprises a loudspeaker chamber delimited by a loudspeaker enclosure structure, a reflex duct communicating with the loudspeaker chamber so as to connect the loudspeaker chamber to the exterior environment of the loudspeaker enclosure, and at least one loudspeaker unit mounted on the loudspeaker enclosure structure so as to form a portion of the delimiting walls of the loudspeaker chamber. According to the invention, the loudspeaker enclosure structure comprises a curved spiral structure closed from its both sides by gable elements so as to form the loudspeaker chamber, and the reflex duct is adapted at least partially running on the outer periphery of the spiral structure.

Abstract:
The present invention provides a novel drive unit mounting arrangement, in which a drive unit having a chassis is mounted to a cabinet from at least two sides. The arrangement comprises a member for securing the drive unit to the cabinet from mounting points of the chassis. The arrangement further comprises a suspension member between the mounting points of the chassis and the cabinet such as to suspend the drive unit chassis elastically to the cabinet for allowing suspension in both forward and rearward directions.
