Abstract: Examples of a user interface (UI) for depletion level selection are described herein. In some examples, a control element is displayed in a UI to select a color depletion level for a color printing substance of a printing device. A predicted cost-per-page to print is displayed in the UI based on based on a selected color depletion level. A color map for the printing device is determined based on the selected color depletion level and a separate black depletion level.

Abstract: An example printing device may comprise an indicator to convey information to a user, a print substance reservoir to house a print substance, where the print substance reservoir is communicatively coupled to a fill port, a sensor to determine when a refill container is connected to the fill port, a processing resource, and a non-transitory machine-readable medium storing instructions executable by the processing resource to transmit signals to the indicator responsive to an indication that the sensor has detected the refill container connected to the fill port, where the signals correspond to the information to be conveyed by the indicator, and authenticate the refill container.

Abstract: In one example, a system to fill or drain a reservoir in a printer includes a controller to set a unit to a total capacity of a container divided by an integer greater than 1, a container sensor to sense the container connected to the printer, and a pump to pump, in set unit increments, at least one unit of a printing agent from the container to the reservoir or from the reservoir to the container. In one example, a memory having processor executable instructions to generate a graphical user interface displaying, during the transfer of a printing agent from a container to a reservoir in a printer or from the reservoir to the container, an animation showing a changing volume of the printing agent in the reservoir and a corresponding changing volume of the printing agent in the container.

Abstract: A printing device has a reservoir of colorant that is fillable from an external colorant supply temporarily connectable to the printing device. A selectable fill mode of the reservoir is enabled from a number of fill modes. The fill modes include a restricted fill mode in which the reservoir is filled from the external colorant supply responsive to determining that the external colorant supply can be emptied into the reservoir. The fill modes include an unrestricted fill mode in which the reservoir is filled from the external supply regardless of whether the external colorant supply can or cannot emptied into the reservoir. The printing device, responsive to temporary connection of the external colorant supply, controls filling of the reservoir from the external colorant supply in accordance with the selected fill mode.
