    Abstract: Code files for performing test cases on information handling systems may be generated from pre-existing test cases using natural language processing and/or machine learning algorithms. For example, a method may include receiving a test case comprising a plurality of tasks; identifying, by inputting the test case into a machine learning algorithm, a subset of code segments from code segments of at least one pre-existing test case in a code library matching at least one task of the plurality of tasks in the test case; and generating an indication of the subset of code segments for re-use from the at least one pre-existing test case for the test case.

    Abstract: A system, method, and computer-readable storage medium provide single sign-on (SSO) in a nested virtualization environment by routing authentication tokens received from an authentication server through the hierarchy of virtual machines (VMs) using secure data communications tunnels between each hypervisor and its respective VMs. A key store stores SSO authentication tokens for users of the nested VMs, and a key controller ensures that each login by a user to a separate VM is associated with its own token. Each login request is uniquely tagged to identify the particular VM requesting credentials, so that the responsive authentication token can be properly routed through the hierarchy. Moreover, session preferences may be associated with each user and/or each VM, enabling a rules evaluator to determine, for each login request, whether SSO functionality should be provided or whether the user should be required instead to provide new login credentials.

    Abstract: A topology configuration system receives a graphic representation comprising object images of information handling systems to be configured for operating as a complex collection of information handling systems, uses artificial intelligence and deep learning to analyze images on the graphic representation and determine specific information handling systems present in the complex collection of information handling systems. A requirement list is used to create a configuration job. Sets of user instructions are sent to a user to guide the user and sets of device instructions are sent to each information handling system so that the user can configure the plurality of information handling systems to operate as the complex collection of information handling systems. Validation packets may be sent to each information handling system to confirm the complex collection of information handling systems is set up quickly and with little or no troubleshooting.

    Abstract: An information handling system may perform a quick boot based on a determination that a boot does not require an update to at least one of a firmware and hardware of an information handling system. The information handling system may reboot and may determine whether a boot of the system requires an update to at least one of a firmware and hardware of the information handling system. If the boot does not require an update to the at least one of a firmware and hardware of the information handling system, the information handling system may boot by bypassing one or more basic input/output system (BIOS) power-on self-test (POST) operations.

    Abstract: An information handling system includes an add-in slot and a baseboard management controller (BMC). The add-in slot receives components of a particular type. The BMC receives an identifier from a particular component installed into the add-in slot. The identifier uniquely identifies the component from any other component of the same type. The BMC further determines whether or not a first entry in an encoded component table includes the first identifier, determines an action to perform for the component in response to determining that the entry includes the identifier, and performs the action for the component. The first entry is associated with the first add-in slot.
