Abstract: An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes an excitation light source, a wavelength conversion module and a light combining prism. The excitation light source emits an exciting light beam. The light combining prism has a first, second, and third surfaces. The exciting light beam enters the light combining prism through the first surface, and is totally reflected by the second surface to leave the light combining prism through the third surface and is transmitted to the wavelength conversion module. The exciting light beam is converted into a wavelength converted light beam by a wavelength conversion region of the wavelength conversion module or reflected by a reflecting region of the wavelength conversion module at different timings, and the wavelength converted light beam or the exciting light beam sequentially penetrates through the third surface and the second surface to leave the light combining prism.

Abstract: An illumination system including a first excitation light source, a transflective element, a wavelength conversion wheel and a filter wheel is provided. The first excitation light source emits a first excitation beam. The transflective element allows a first portion beam of the first excitation beam to pass through, and reflects a second portion beam of the first excitation beam. The wavelength conversion wheel is disposed on a transmission path of the first portion beam and includes a wavelength conversion region, and when the first portion beam irradiates onto the wavelength conversion region, the first portion beam is converted into a converted beam. The filter wheel is disposed on a transmission path of the second portion beam and the converted beam, and includes multiple filter regions, wherein the second portion beam and the converted beam irradiate onto each of the filter regions of the filter wheel.

Abstract: A projection apparatus including an illumination system, a light valve, an optical actuation element and a projection lens is provided. The illumination system provides an illumination beam. An image display surface of the light valve includes a first region and a second region. First pixels of the first region convert the illumination beam into first sub-image beams. Second pixels of the second region convert the illumination beam into second sub-image beams. A transmission path of one of the first sub-image beams in the optical actuation element is a first transmission path. A transmission path of one of the second sub-image beams in the optical actuation element is a second transmission path. A length of the first transmission path is smaller than a length of the second transmission path. In this way, the projection apparatus has good image quality.

Abstract: An illumination system and a projection device are provided. The illumination system includes an excitation light source, a wavelength conversion module and a light combining prism. Abstract: An illumination system for providing an illumination beam includes red, blue, and green light source modules, a first light combining element, and a light uniforming element. The red light source module includes a first red light emitting element emitting first red light and a second red light emitting element emitting second red light. A peak wavelength of the second red light is greater than a peak wavelength of the first red light. The blue light source module includes a first blue light emitting element emitting first blue light and a second blue light emitting element emitting second blue light. A peak wavelength of the second blue light is less than a peak wavelength of the first blue light. The green light source module generates green light. The first light combining element guides these lights into the light uniforming element, so that the illumination system outputs the illumination beam.

Abstract: A projector includes a light source module and an optical engine. The light source module provides an illumination beam. The optical engine includes a light valve, a projection lens, and a pixel offset device. The light valve has an active surface, and the active surface converts the illumination beam into an image beam and reflects the image beam. The projection lens projects the image beam from the projector. The pixel offset device is located between the light valve and the projection lens and includes a frame and a transparent panel, the transparent panel is disposed in the frame and includes a transparent surface, the transparent panel is disposed on the transmission path of the illumination beam and the transmission path of the image beam, the frame is configured to drive the transparent panel to vibrate, and the transparent surface is tilted with respect to the active surface.
