Abstract: It is presented an access control communication device comprising: a short distance radio communication module; a cellular radio communication module; and a controller arranged to communicate access rights associated with a key device, using the cellular radio communication module, with an access control device over a cellular communication network, the communicating comprising sending a request for access management data associated with the lock device, and receiving access management data associated with the lock device; and the controller further being arranged to transmit the access management data to the key device for transfer to the lock device, the communicating and transmitting being arranged to be performed upon the access control device being in communication with the key device using the short distance radio communication module. Abstract: It is provided a method for determining whether a portable key device is located inside or outside a metal door. The method is performed by a credential communication device and comprises the steps of: obtaining a first time-of-flight, ToF, measurement between a first antenna and the portable key device, wherein the first antenna is located on the outside of the metal door; obtaining a second ToF measurement between a second antenna and the portable key device, wherein the second antenna is located on the inside of the metal door; and determining the portable key device to be located on the outside of the metal door when the first ToF measurement is less than the second ToF measurement by an amount which is greater than a threshold value.

Abstract: It is provided an electronic lock for selectively locking a barrier to a surrounding structure. The housing comprises a cut-out forming a slot antenna, wherein the wireless communication module is connected to the housing and thus the slot antenna. Abstract: It is presented a key device comprising: a mechanical interface for mechanically maneuvering a lock device upon successful access control. The mechanical interface comprises a connector for powering the lock device and for communication with the lock device such that the lock device is able to perform electronic access control using the key device. The key device further comprises a clock; a memory; a radio communication module; and a controller arranged to, using the radio communication module communicate online with an access control device and use the memory as temporary storage for offline communication between the access control device and one or more lock devices. A corresponding method, computer program and computer program product are also presented.

Abstract: A method is provided for controlling an operational state of a sensor device for break-in detection. The method is performed in the sensor device and comprises the steps of: determining, while in a low-power state, that a wake-up condition is true when a vibration measurement associated with a barrier is greater than a wake-up threshold; transitioning, when the wake-up condition is true, to an active state; determining, while in the active state, when an activity condition is true, the activity condition being based on vibration measurements associated with the barrier; increasing the wake-up threshold, and transitioning to the low-power state when the activity condition is not determined to be true within a first duration while in the active state; and decreasing the wake-up threshold, when the sensor device stays in the low-power state longer than a second duration.

Abstract: It is provided a method for determining when a break-in attempt is in process. The method is performed in a break-in determiner and comprises the steps of: determining that a first vibration condition is tme when a vibration parameter associated with a barrier is greater than a first threshold, wherein the first vibration parameter is obtained from measurements from an accelerometer; determining whether an acceptable activity condition is tme or not, such that the acceptable activity condition is true only when there is an auxiliary signal indicating acceptable activity comprising determining that the acceptable activity condition is tme only when a time difference between determining that the first vibration condition is true and receiving the auxiliary signal is less than a threshold duration; and determining that a break-in attempt is in process when the first vibration condition is tme and the acceptable activity condition is false.
