An adjustable joint for a flat object is disclosed. The adjustable joint includes an extending portion connected to the flat object, a fixed portion, and a resilient portion connected to the extending portion and the fixed portion. The resilient portion includes a joint member connecting the extending portion and the fixed portion, a latching member received in the joint member and latching the extending portion, an operating lever rotatably connected to the joint member and configured for adjusting the tightness of the extending portion and, a connecting member connecting the latching member and the operating lever, wherein when the operating lever is rotated, the connecting member drives the latching member to grasp or release the extending portion.
Abstract:
A support structure for supporting a display panel includes a support and a clamp. The support is rotatably coupled to the display panel. The clamp includes two clamping arms rotatably coupled to the support, a bolt and an adjusting nut. A slot is defined in each clamping arm. The bolt is extended through each slot and engaged with the adjusting nut. Therefore a distance between two distal ends of two clamping arms can be adjusted by screwing and unscrewing the adjusting nut along the bolt. A display device using the support structure is also provided.

A latching device and an electronic device using the latching device are provided. The latching device is for fastening a cover assembly of the electronic device to a base assembly. The latching device includes a sliding member movably mounted in the cover assembly, a magnet fixed in the sliding member, and a hooking member pivotally fixing on the base assembly. The hooking member is made up of magnetic material. When the cover assembly is rotated to cover the base assembly, the hooking member is attracted by the magnet and hooks onto the cover assembly. When the sliding member slides, the sliding member pushes the hooking member to disengage from the cover assembly.

A portable computer includes a main body including a bottom sheet and a panel which cooperatively form a receiving cavity, a display, a pivot shaft connecting the main body to the display, a keyboard, a pushing member including a pushing body, two connecting rods, and two restricting members. The panel includes a first surface facing the bottom sheet. The keyboard includes a first side, a second side, a flexible blocking member, and at least one auto-flick pivot on the second side. The restricting members are received in the receiving cavity corresponding to the connecting rods. Each restricting member includes a liftable restricting portion positioned on the bottom sheet. The auto-flick pivot connects the keyboard to the main body. Each connecting rod movably connects the keyboard to the main body. The pushing body is movably connected to the first surface and moves from a first position to a second position.

A heat dissipating assembly capable of being placed between a circuit board and a casing of an electronic device includes a fan assembly and a bracket. The fan assembly is mounted on the circuit board. The fan assembly includes an enclosure defining a chamber and an opening at a side wall thereof, along with a blower received in the chamber. The bracket is located between the fan assembly and the casing of the electronic device. The bracket has a side wall thereof defining a cutout connected with the chamber. The cutout and the opening of the enclosure are defined at two different sides of the heat dissipating assembly.

A portable electronic device includes a main body, a display and a writing tablet. The display pivotally connects to a rear wall of the main body to selectively locate in a first state and a second state. In the first state, the display covers a top wall of the main body. In the second state, the display rotates away from the top wall and is arranged on a rear side of the main body. The writing tablet pivotally connects to the main body to selectively locate at a first position and a third position. In the first position, the writing tablet is arranged between the display and the main body and covers the top wall of the main body, and electrically connected with the main body for receiving input signals. In the third position, the writing tablet is arranged on a front side of the main body.

A support device includes a support-receiving member, a sliding block, a support, and an elastic sheet. The support-receiving member defines a groove with one end thereof blocked to form a stop end and the other opened to form an exit end. The sliding block and the support are slidably juxtaposed in the groove from the stop end to the exit end and rotatably coupled. The support includes a contact portion extending away from an end near the sliding block. The elastic sheet is fixed to the support-receiving member at the exit end and extends a free end away from the exit end. The free end maintains contact with the contact portion during rotation of the support and presses the contact portion to pivot the support to be stopped by the support-receiving member, stationing the support at that position.

An electronic device assembly includes a protective apparatus, a first electronic member, and a pivotal mechanism. The protective apparatus includes an upper housing and a lower housing. The first electronic member is housing in the upper housing. The pivotal mechanism received in the lower housing rotates the upper housing relative to the lower housing. When the upper housing is unlatched by the pivotal mechanism from the lower housing, the first electronic member leaves the protective apparatus, and when the upper housing is driven by the pivotal mechanism to latch to the lower housing, the first electronic member is shielded in the protective apparatus.

When the latch assembly clasps the body, the sliding apparatus is unlatched from the electronic device, and the cover is slidable relative to the body and is unfolded while the cover slides away from the body.
