An image creator (33) creates an optical image and a mass spectrometric (MS) image for each m/z for a measurement area on the same sample, and an image alignment processor (34) equalizes resolutions and aligns the images. A regression analysis executer (35) performs partial least squares regression (PLS) to create a regression model, using a matrix based on the MS imaging data as an explanatory variable and a matrix, which has a luminance value for each pixel as an element and has been created from the optical image, as an explained variable. An image creator (33) applies the explanatory variable, that is, a signal intensity value for each mass-to-charge ratio value in each pixel of the MS imaging data, to the regression model to create an estimation image. A display processor (39) displays a reference image and the estimation image on a screen of a display unit (5). Methods for increasing soil stabilization utilizing an anionic surfactant and a solution. Varying amounts of the anionic surfactant sodium dodecyl sulfate (“SDS”) is added to soils along with a solution of calcium chloride. A mixing procedure is then used to mix the SDS-soil matrix with the calcium chloride solution. The micelles surround the soil particles, creating a matrix, and then the calcium ions of the calcium chloride solution bonds the micelle complex together. The resulting calcium dodecyl sulfate (“CDS”) complex is very hard, relatively insoluble, and very strong. This process can be reversed by exposing the CDS complex to seawater. The sodium ions of the seawater exchange with the calcium ions of the CDS complex reforming the SDS surfactant.

A process for the continuous preparation of 1,2-propylenediamine (1,2-PDA) and dimethyldiethylenetriamine (DMDETA) via reaction of monoisopropanolamine (MIPOA) with ammonia in the presence of hydrogen and a supported heterogeneous hydrogenation catalyst (catalyst), wherein the reaction is effected in the liquid phase at an absolute pressure in the range from 60 to 170 bar.
A slurry for manufacturing gypsum board is disclosed. The slurry comprises calcined gypsum, water, a foaming agent, and a thickening agent. The thickening agent of the present disclosure acts to improve the cohesiveness of the slurry without adversely affecting the setting time of the slurry, the paper-to-core bond (wet and dry), or the head of the slurry by acting as a defoaming agent or coalescing agent. Examples of suitable thickening agents include cellulose ether and co-polymers containing varying degrees of polyacrylamide and acrylic acid. A gypsum board and method of forming the slurry and the gypsum board are also disclosed. The gypsum board comprises a gypsum layer formed from the slurry.
An enamel composition, a method for preparing an enamel composition, and a cooking appliance are provided. The enamel composition may include 20 to 50% by weight of silicon dioxide (SiO2), 7 to 12% by weight of boron oxide (B2O3), one or more of lithium superoxide (Li2O), sodium oxide (Na2O), or potassium oxide (K2O), and 10 to 20% by weight of sodium fluoride (NaF), 1 to 10% by weight of zinc oxide (ZnO), and one or more of molybdenum oxide (MoO3), bismuth oxide (Bi2O3), or cerium dioxide (CeO2), and 10 to 40% by weight of titanium dioxide (TiO2). With such an enamel composition, cleaning is possible in a heating condition of a relatively low temperature and without a soaking process using water.
Provided is a method for inhibiting extractant degradation comprising preparing step, extracting step and scrubbing step, the method including: (a) the preparing step of a DSX solvent by adjusting the extractant concentration of the DSX solvent to a specific range; (b) the extracting step of metal included in the feed solution by adjusting the ratio of the organic (solvent) and an aqueous (solution) as a feed solution; (c) the scrubbing step of adjusting the zinc concentration of the solution using zinc sulfate; and (d) stripping step.
The present invention relates to a method for preparing a carbon nanotube fiber aggregate formed of single-wall carbon nanotubes, and the manufacturing efficiency of a carbon nanotube fiber comprising single-wall carbon nanotubes can be improved by controlling the molar ratio of a carbon source and of a reducing gas in a carrier gas.
In a method for generating a chlorine dioxide gas, the chlorine dioxide gas is continuously generated from a gel composition obtained by adding a gelling activator containing a gas generating agent, a gas generation controlling agent containing a carbonate and hydrogen peroxide, a gas generation adjusting agent, and a water-absorbent resin to a chlorite aqueous solution. This provides a method for generating a chlorine dioxide gas, a kit for generating a chlorine dioxide gas, and a gel composition which suppress the initial rapid generation of the chlorine dioxide gas and stably hold the generation of the chlorine dioxide gas for an extremely long time.
The invention relates to a process and an apparatus for producing an olefin-containing feed stream for a steam reforming plant. According to certain embodiments of the invention, the olefin-containing hydrocarbon starting material is for this purpose vaporized and catalytically hydrogenated. The hydrogenation product stream obtained is separated into a gaseous reforming feed stream, which is fed to a steam reforming plant, and a gaseous recycle stream. As a result of the cooling according to the invention of the gaseous recycle stream down to at least partial condensation thereof and the separate recirculation of the gaseous partial recycle stream and of the liquid partial recycle stream, the procurement of a large and complicated circulation compressor is avoided and electric energy for operating this compressor is saved.
