Disclosed herein is a hybrid ventilation apparatus capable of both natural and forced ventilation. In the case of a natural ventilation mode, a worm gear is rotated in a normal direction by drive force of a drive unit under control of a control unit so that a pressing member engages with a rotation guide protrusion and rotates a damper, thus opening a flow passage, and then the worm gear is reversely rotated by drive force of the drive unit to return the pressing member to its original position, thus allowing a user to rotate a roller upwards and downwards and rotate the damper so that the degree of opening of the flow passage can be adjusted. Thereby, rapid inflow of outdoor air can be blocked, and a cold graft phenomenon, in which the temperature of indoor air rapidly drops, can be prevented.

The meteorological observation system using vehicles includes a meteorological observation device embedded in each of the vehicles and configured to periodically detect surrounding weather information and to photograph weather conditions, the vehicle configured to run on a road using radar devices for detecting the front and right and left sides of the vehicle, that is, sensors for supporting driving and prevent a collision, and to provide mobility to the meteorological observation device, a meteorological server configured to collect pieces of the weather information from the meteorological observation devices moving in respective areas through wireless communication and to provide the pieces of weather information to a meteorological observation center, the meteorological observation center configured to use information, received from the meteorological server, as statistical data or meteorological observation and forecast data.

A method for preparing pellets from rice husk includes: grinding rice husk; adding ammonia water to a mixture of ethylene vinyl acetate and poly(vinylacetate) to prepare a mixed liquid binder; mixing the mixed binder with the ground rice husk to obtain a binder/rice husk mixture; extruding the binder/rice husk mixture through an extruder; and cooling the extruded mixture at room temperature.

Provided are an apparatus for testing a tensile strength under a high temperature condition and a unit for measuring elongation provided in the same. The apparatus for testing a tensile strength under a high temperature condition includes a base frame part, a test sample loader and a cylinder part connected to the base frame part and applying a tensile force to a test sample, and a heater for forming a high temperature condition to the test sample. The unit for measuring elongation includes a movable frame, a vertical bar, and a measurement head part connected to the vertical bar to measure elongation of the test sample and blocking heat from the heater. Therefore, since a tensile strength and elongation of the test sample can be measured under a high temperature condition, it is possible to recognize deformation characteristics of a material due to a fire and prevent deformation of or damage to the elongation measurement unit even under the high temperature condition, improving durability and reliability of the apparatus.
