The microphone unit has a first wireless transmitting unit for wirelessly transmitting an audio signal by way of a first transmission path and a second wireless transmitting unit for wirelessly transmitting the audio signal by way of a second transmission path. The second wireless transmitting unit is adapted to embed a time stamp in the audio signal to be transmitted by way of the second transmission path.
