An example method includes associating respective ones of a first and a second network device with respective ones of at least two different pseudo domain name service (DNS) servers, wherein the pseudo DNS servers do not provide domain name-to-IP address translation. Crediting the first network device with accessing media in response to receiving a first domain name service query at a first pseudo DNS server from a first public Internet protocol address. Crediting the second network device with accessing media in response to receiving a second domain name service query at a second pseudo DNS server from the first public Internet protocol address.
