The image sensor is configured to capture reflected light of a work surface with a low-speed period to generate image frames, wherein the image sensor captures a pair of image frames in each low-speed period. The processing unit is configured to calculate acceleration according to the pair of image frames to accordingly identify whether to adjust the low-speed period to a high-speed period.
