The retaining element is movable relative to the base for assuming a position depending on the dimensions of the electronic device when it is retained on the support. The charger further includes a wireless energy emitter for wirelessly charging an electronic device retained on the support. The energy emitter is borne by a mechanism mechanically connecting the energy emitter to the base and to the retaining element. The mechanism is laid down so that a displacement of the retaining element relative to the base causes a displacement of the energy emitter relative to the base.
