The sensor unit includes an angular velocity sensor capable of measuring angular velocity of at least 2500 dps, a second acceleration sensor capable of measuring acceleration of at least 50 G, and a first acceleration sensor capable of measuring acceleration of at least 24 G. The sensor unit is mounted on at least one of a golf club and a subject. The processing unit calculates a posture of the sensor unit at the time of motion using the angular velocity measured by the angular velocity sensor, and performs selection of outputs of the second and first acceleration sensors according to acceleration applied at the time of the motion and calculates a position of the sensor unit during the motion using the selected acceleration of the sensor.
