The pair of shutters are each controllable to be in a light transmissive state for a first color, a second color and a third color or in a light non-transmissive state. The pair of shutters corresponding to left and right glasses are each controllable in synchronization with display of an image on the organic EL display panel, so that one of a monochromatic image display mode, a color image display mode, a monochromatic three-dimensional image display mode, and a color three-dimensional image display mode is selected.
