Abstract:
The present invention relates to the use of a compound of formula (I): wherein: R represents a linear or branched alkyl group, comprising from 3 to 27 carbon atoms, said alkyl group being substituted with at least two hydroxyl groups, and which may optionally contain one or more unsaturations; and R′ is selected from sugars or sugar-alcohols; for preparing polyurethanes and polyesters.
