An operation schedule evaluation apparatus has a passenger flow calculator and a power consumption amount calculator. The passenger flow calculator creates passenger flow information related to a passenger flow generated by transportation of a train, based on operation schedule information of each train and passenger information related to an entry and an exit of a passenger at a station. The power consumption amount calculator calculates the number of passengers or a car occupancy of each train based on the passenger flow information created by the passenger flow calculator, the operation schedule information and car information of each train, and calculates a power consumption amount of each train per unit time which reflects car weight corresponding to the number of passengers or the car occupancy.
