The plurality of permanent magnets include a pair of first permanent magnets. The pair of first permanent magnets are arranged so that first magnetic poles thereof having the same polarity oppose to each other and are separated from each other on both sides of a magnetic path of d-axis by a predetermined distance. The rotor core includes gaps formed within the magnetic path of the d-axis.
