The display method includes in response to a first command being input, photographing a user and generating first recognition information; associating the first recognition information with information on a screen displayed when the first command is input and storing the associated information in the display apparatus; in response to a second command being input, photographing a user and generating second recognition information; and comparing the first recognition information and the second recognition information and determining whether to display content based on a result of the comparison.
