The LED (204) is disposed in the channel (512) at the focus (514). First light rays are internally reflected in the lens (206) and collimated through the surface. Second light rays are transmitted through the lens (206) and the surface in parallel to the axis (510). Third light rays are refracted by the surface toward the axis (510).
