The information processing apparatus includes a function file storage configured to hold a function file describing a function of the device; a device classifying unit configured to classify the device into a category according to the configuration information acquired from the device; an information acquiring unit configured to acquire, from the device, information concerning the function described in the function file corresponding to the category into which the device is classified by the device classifying unit; and a display unit configured to display a setup page used for the setup corresponding to the device, according to the information acquired by the information acquiring unit.
