The pixel includes a first switching element connected to the first gate line and the data line, a second switching element connected to the first gate line and the voltage supplying line, a third switching element connected to the second gate line, a first pixel electrode connected to the first switching element, and a separate second pixel electrode connected to the second switching element. The voltage supplying line is supplied with a first voltage, which has a substantially uniform magnitude.
