The communication terminal: receives a material image and corresponding first identification information transmitted from a communication terminal via a network; receives a captured image and corresponding second identification information transmitted from a second communication terminal via the network, the captured image being captured by a camera; compares the first identification information with the second identification information; and displays, when the result of the comparing indicates that the first identification information and the second identification information are the same, the material image and the captured image on a display device in such a manner that at least a part of the captured image overlaps with at least a part of the material image or in such a manner that an outer edge of the part of the captured image abuts an outer edge of the material image.
