Various embodiments include a method for controlling power in a transmitter, the method comprising measuring an indication of an output power of the transmitter, comparing a first value corresponding to the indication of the output power to a second value corresponding to a desired output power; and adjusting a bias of at least one component in the transmitter in order to bring the output power closer to the desired output power.
