The authentication server performs authentication of the user based on the user credential information transmitted from the image forming apparatus. The image forming apparatus transmits workflow program information included in the information recorded in an authentication token and parameter information for the workflow program to an application server. The application server controls the image forming apparatus based on the workflow program information.
