A solenoid valve is provided with a valve body inside which a spool is provided so as to move in an axial direction, a solenoid section which is mounted to one end of the valve body in the axial direction thereof, and a retainer which is mounted to the other end of the valve body in the axial direction thereof. The retainer is fixed by a staking section which is provided to an end of the valve body in the axial direction thereof and staked in the axial direction.
