When a call is made from an opposite side telephone set while a TV broadcast is watched, the call can be responded to only by rotating the display casing, and the supply of the drive voltage to the TV broadcast receiving part can be automatically stopped, so that power consumption can be efficiently reduced while reducing the burden of operations.
