The foamed rubber member of the invention, produced through an impregnation treatment of a foamed elastic body with a treatment liquid containing an isocyanate compound and an organic solvent, the foamed elastic body being produced by foaming a base rubber, exhibits a compression set smaller than that of the foamed elastic body before undergoing the impregnation treatment, and exhibits a percent increase in stress, with respect to the stress of the foamed elastic body before undergoing the impregnation treatment, of 50% or less.
