The resin layer is disposed on an inner peripheral surface of the tubular member in the reel. The reel is provided with a resin hub having an outer peripheral surface on which a recording tape T is wound, the first flange is integrally formed at one end portion of the hub, a second flange is welded at the other end portion of the hub, and a reinforcing tubular member is disposed on an inner peripheral surface of the hub by insert molding.
