The monitoring device comprises: a processing module configured to determine a measuring uncertainty of the information sent by the first sensor and/or to measure a lag between the sending of the information by the first sensor and the display of the information on the display screen; and a limiting module configured to limit the piloting of said vehicle of interest by the operator as a function of the determined uncertainty and/or the measured lag.
