One apparatus includes a processor and a transceiver that receives, from a first address on a blockchain network, a plurality of connection information packages and also receives, from a first function, a request to authenticate a user. The processor determines whether the first function is associated with one of the plurality of connection information packages. In response to the first function being associated with a valid one of the plurality of connection information package, the processor accepts the request to authenticate a user.
