The flavor substrate is surrounded by an outer sleeve which is impermeable to the flavor material. The flavor delivery device may be positioned within a cartridge of an aerosol delivery device where the flavor delivery device is located downstream from a reservoir containing an aerosol precursor composition relative to the mouthend of the cartridge.
