The transmission/reception device has a transmission stage that has a first and a second transmission block, the first transmission block being configured to transmit a transmitted signal onto a first bus wire of a bus of the bus system, in which bus system exclusive, collision-free access by a subscriber station to the bus of the bus system is at least temporarily guaranteed, and the second transmission block is configured to transmit the transmitted signal onto a second bus wire of the bus; a reception stage for receiving the bus signal transferred on the bus wires; and an emissions reduction unit for controlled switching in of a capacitance unit in parallel with the second transmission stage in order to reduce conducted emissions of the transmission/reception device.
