Therapeutic device including acoustic sensor
Abstract:
A therapeutic device comprises an ECG sensing electrode configured to be disposed on a torso of a subject, a therapy electrode to be disposed on the torso of the subject, the therapy electrode comprising a substrate and a conductive layer disposed on a lower surface of the substrate, and an acoustic sensor coupled to one of the ECG sensing electrode and the therapy electrode, the acoustic sensor being configured to acoustically couple to the torso of the subject and monitor heart sounds indicative of a state of health of a heart of the subject. The therapeutic device is configured to store data regarding the heart sounds monitored by the acoustic sensor and transmit the stored data to an external system for processing and analysis.
