Abstract:
A battery housing for a vehicle driven by an electric motor comprises a tray part including a bottom and side walls integrally formed thereon, and furthermore comprises a frame structure surrounding the tray part on the outside, wherein a gap remains between the side walls and the frame structure disposed on the outside thereof. At least two side walls of the tray part located opposite one another with respect to the tray volume each have at least one embossment, which is designed to point away from the tray volume and is supported on the frame structure. A brace disposed in the tray part is supported with the end-face ends thereof in the mutually opposing embossments.
