The clip comprises: a first part (420) and a second part (430), the first and second parts being connected by a hinge (401); and a first resilient element (460) arranged in the second part. The first resilient element comprising a first gripping surface (451) for frictionally gripping a surface of the elongated member. The second part comprises a cavity (443) extending in the radial direction, the first resilient element comprises a first resilient part (460) arranged inside the cavity and a second resilient part (470) arranged outside the cavity and extending in the radial direction from the cavity into the through hole. The cavity is configured to secure the first resilient element in said second part.
