Methods, systems, and computer program products relate to deduplication of points of interest (POIs) from different sources. In some embodiments, a method is disclosed. According to the method, a first set of POIs are obtained from a first source and a second set of POIs are obtained from a second source. The first set of POIs are divided into a plurality of groups of POIs including a first group of POIs. A second group of POIs to be matched with the first group of POIs are determined from the second set of POIs. Duplicated POIs are identified from the first and second sets of POIs by matching the first group of POIs and the second group of POIs.
