The head unit is configured to, in a first position of the plurality of positions, by means of the first input/output interface, transfer one or a plurality of security documents into or out of the device, in a second position of the plurality of positions, by means of the second input/output interface, transfer one or a plurality of security documents into or out of the device, and, in a third position of the plurality of positions, transfer one or a plurality of security documents between the head unit and the container.
