The first electronic device may comprise: a communication module for receiving video and audio for a video call from a second electronic device connected thereto for the video call; a display; a camera module; and a processor. The processor may: receive location information indicating the location of the second electronic device from the second electronic device through the communication module; identify a place where the second electronic device is located, using at least one of the received video and the received location information; generate a first spatial image indicating the second electronic device being located in the identified place; and transmit an image captured by the camera module and the generated first spatial image to the second electronic device through the communication module.
