The electronic pen main body section includes: an axial portion that is put into a hollow portion of the housing via the opening; and a tip portion that is coupled to the axial portion and externally exposed from the opening of the housing. A diameter of the tip portion is larger than a diameter of the opening of the housing. A coupling side of the tip portion includes a second ring-shaped end face that comes into contact with a first ring-shaped end face on the side of the housing that includes the opening. The electronic pen main body section includes a stepped portion on a coupling area between the tip portion and the axial portion.
