The battery case includes: a chassis with which the first main surface of the battery cell comes into contact; an adjustment plate placed on the second main surface of the battery cell; and a holding plate that is formed from an elastic member and covers the second main surface of the battery cell with the adjustment plate between the holding plate and the battery cell.
