A major surface of the microchannel has a first width at a first and a second opposite end portion to couple each end portion to a corresponding fluid distribution header. A middle portion of the microchannel between the first and second end portions has a second width that is greater than the first width. Fins are attached to the middle portion of the first major surface of the flat tube microchannel.
