The security element has a plurality of memory locations for storing the plurality of subscriptions, wherein the plurality of subscriptions comprises a primary subscription and at least one secondary subscription. In the primary subscription there is deposited a set of rules which determines whether the at least one secondary subscription on the security element can be used.
